Elevating the Brand
After six years showing at NeoCon and expanding their product offering, Ghent needed a new space that would better represent — and elevate — their evolving brand. The showroom I conceptualized was a clean, modern envelope with twice the square footage for showcasing product.
Simple but beautiful in form, the design centers around a “floating” cube with a wood finish, rounded corners and bottom light detail. Functionally, the cube houses storage, a kitchen and signage, and its neutral palette makes it easy to update product year after year. For the surrounding loft-like space with its exposed radiators and plumbing, all matte finishes (paint, flooring, cabinetry and signage) contrast with Ghent’s products, which are predominately glass. This soft, matte backdrop elevates the brand and allows their products to shine.
