Next Level Design
For Trinity Furniture, establishing a showroom in the Merchandise Mart was the first step toward taking their brand to the next level — with the goal of attracting new clients, developing their salesforce and evolving their business. Rather than use the rectangular footprint of their 1,200 square foot showroom, I articulated the space with a series of graduated pyramids to create different product zones that would unfold in a rhythmic way. By gradating the color palette (from light to dark with the architecture and dark to light with product), I was able to blend Trinity Furniture’s distinct workplace and healthcare offerings while showing as much product as possible in a sophisticated way. With this elevated design, I raised the profile of Trinity Furniture’s brand at NeoCon and gave them a sense of establishment in their first showroom.
