A Bold Aesthetic
The design of Concertex’s showroom needed to match the bold aesthetic of their newly developed brand. The dark color palette chosen for the space made a strong statement among showrooms at the Merchandise Mart and put the spotlight on their product in a unique and fashionable way. Functionally, the showroom centered around a common table where people could gather, learn and explore. A custom slatted fabric wall for large-scale displays and a lounge area with pieces from an industry furniture partner completed the space — which I then embellished with lush foliage to create a layered design and intimate, welcoming environment.
